  • About temples you cannot write, how about the sights. But one point I would like to mention. Categorical prohibition to enter the temple women in skirts (and, it is a ban, not a recommendation) provides no possibility of travelling, travel, and in General, women who did not have at the moment, the details of clothes, quietly go to the temple to pray. This is very upsetting. In Moscow, fortunately, this was much blagopristojnee. Recommendation come to church in a skirt is one thing, but here's a categorical order can set some people (especially nevocerkovlennyh) negative attitude towards the Church and orthodoxy.

  • The oldest temple of Yalta, built by count Vorontsov and consecrated in the year 1837 in year of Yalta City status has long been a hallmark and his 45-meter high Bell Tower and is the main navigational reference point from the sea, allowing the ships to distinguish the Yalta coast. The temple was originally erected in the Gothic style, which was a supporter of Earl (remember his Alupka gothic Palace). However, it was later rebuilt, and only in the form of a Gothic bell tower, the Temple became more familiar to Russians Byzantine appearance. During the war the temple burned down, a long standing in ruins and only in the nineties was again restored. So I haven't seen him in childhood and adolescence, when visited in Yalta. And visited him just now, in January.

  • The outside is very unusual. Inside is not. Find the way to it. Long wandering on local streets.
