  • Justinian Luká (Valentin Féliksovich Vójno-Jasenéckij; 27 April (9 May) 1877, Kerch — 11 June 1961, Simferopol) is a Bishop of the Russian Orthodox Church, from April 1946 year — Archbishop of Simferopol and Crimea, a Russian surgeon, scientist, author of works on Anesthesiology, Professor, doctor of medical sciences; spiritual writer, doctor of divinity (1959). Laureate of Stalin Prize of first degree (1946). Archbishop Luke became a victim of repression and spent in exile in a total of 11 years. He was rehabilitated in April 2000 year. in August 2000 year canonized by the Russian Orthodox Church Congregation in new martyrs and confessors of Russia to be veneration; memory-may 29 (11 June) and March 5 (March 18) — the day of the independence of his relics in 1996 g.
