(4.6/5 based on 550 reviews on the web)
Panorama Museum on the Siege of Sevastopol commemorates one of Imperial Russia's greatest and most celebrated military victories, in which Russian defenders beat back French and British armies more than double their number. See a vibrant display of Russian military history by visiting the museum specially built to house the enormous painting, measuring 14 m (50 ft) tall and 115 m (377 ft) long. Look closely to spot the many details included in the panorama of the siege, which lasted from 1854 to 1855. The painting features hundreds of individual soldiers, realistically painted cannons and military equipment, and the topography of the harbor itself. Learn more about the battle and the painting via a guided tour of the panorama, offered in English. • Interesting military history. Impressed by the magnitude of the project. A grand spectacle for people who are not indifferent to its history.

  • "Panorama" Museum in Sevastopol leaves different sensation-it and surprise yourself Exhibition Hall, a very unusual and soperezhevanie heroes, participants in the battles. Unfortunately, Park Avenue corresponds to the Museum. There you can see a lot of anchors of various ships from various eras. Informative, fascinating, fills the senses. Duration of excursion at the Museum about 20 min. Photography is prohibited.

  • First of all, don't come without seeing this Museum from Sivastapol City Center, very dry and warm in a large park, if you go in one day and it will be done some hiking and Crimean War is now being greeted by a three-dimensional visual telling. A scene of war into the building floor by floor they put like Tin soldiers. There is very little you can see the unique Museum in the world.
