  • Cembalo-Genoese fortress in Balaklava. The fortress is located on the top and slopes of Mount Castle, the former mount Kastron. Now the restoration works are underway. The easiest way to get into one of the towers of the fortress-climbing up the stairs from the promenade Nazukina. From the height of the views of the Cape AIA, Balaklava and its Bay, as well as rock, battery No. 19 Mytilino and Kaya Bashi. I highly recommend this place to enjoy the views!

  • There are two ways to climb to the ruins of the fortress. First: reach the end of the promenade Nazukina, steps climb to the observation deck and choose any trail, I went to the left, closer to the towers. Fast but not easy to climb, especially after a rain and a minus of this route-if repaired the fence at the top, you'll need to go down there, and it's very uncomfortable. Second: Kirova Street gradually turns into the street opposite House 5 there Historical begins climbing. One could travel up to 4 houses, but the road there is horrible. Minus of this route is the same as the first. For such as I-Freys advise to walk along the paths towards the Silver Beach, there are very beautiful.

  • If you have traveled to the Crimea, this fortress is Grand and different from others. Even more so now is restoration. The main thing in this location-stunning views to the sea and Balaklava Bay.
