Specialty Museum Museum
Dating back to 1913, features the ruins of one of the most modern and largest fortifications in the region from World War II. Today it displays weapons, soldiers' chambers, and memorabilia. This garrison was highly sophisticated for its time, armed with 400-500 men and two guns, which shot 471 kg (1,038 lb) shells up to 42 km (26 mi). Visit the memorial complex at the site to see the hospital rooms where wounded soldiers were treated, dark humid bedrooms, and war tunnels, all covered in broken concrete pieces and deformed metal. You'll see exhibits of photographs, as well as installations that depict the atmosphere of this place. • I don't speak Russian and nothing is in English so be aware of that. Also there is some steep and long stair climbing. It is a nicely put together site, more of a memorial to individuals, with many ph...  more »

  • On trips was 31.05.2017 g. Free entrance, approximately 1.5 hours. Excursion very impressed and enjoyed, causing a lot of emotions, as if you are at the time (the Casemates of the battery, the Pantheon of memory), a big thank you to guides tell interesting, there's that look well and will remember ... as well as employees of the Museum, which is all restored and restore so far. ... PS: advice for those who want to visit the "35 battery". Do not forget to bring warm clothes (sweater, sweater) you need when visiting the Casemates, batteries, and so on ...., where very humid and cold. With a sharp drop of temperatures-Street heat (30-35 g) and premises of the battery where the temperature is in the range of 10-13 degrees, it really feels.

  • Very interesting. Beautiful and well maintained Museum. Were Saturday, guided tours every 20 minutes. But with a child up to 7 years old cannot be categorically. For us it was a sudden, had to go with her husband on the queue. Guide him telling more about the fate of people about the tragedy of humankind and me more dry facts, figures, dates and technical specifications. In General, we would have the opposite change guides and it would be luck))) thanks to the sponsors for having stored and remembered this feat.

  • Place interesting. The well-preserved firing points protivokarabel'nyh guns. A little technique and trenches. Eradicate nearby pillboxes. A good landscape (three-dimensional) map defense of Sevastopol. Admission is free, but not always pomoymu.

  • Do not forget to bring warm stuff, because you will have to come down a bit. Very interesting complex of buildings. Open children from computers and spend watching this engineering marvel, which unfortunately for thousands of soldiers of the era common grave. Fascinating excursions until the ending of the story will go from the most distant point of the route, you can not imagine what awaits you. Can be find in the lists of relatives or acquaintances may share your story of this place, but trust me, in any case, you will be amazed at what he saw.

  • Went to Crimea and specifically in Sevastopol with the specific purpose of showing daughter the real story of the hero-city. In General, expect from Sevastopol something more precisely in terms of attitudes towards the history of the city. Many can't even tell where and what to see, where to go/to go. Autumn was in the Krasnodar region, so there around it that people remember and honor their past, respectively of the city-Hero expected more ... Unfortunately, this is not the case. 35 battery-one of the greatest monuments of those times .... Strongly impressed by the tour and then long has walked through the territory. Except Thanks man, supports this complex, and have nothing to say.
