Specialty Museum
Dating back to 1913, features the ruins of one of the most modern and largest fortifications in the region from World War II. Today it displays weapons, soldiers' chambers, and memorabilia. This garrison was highly sophisticated for its time, armed with 400-500 men and two guns, which shot 471 kg (1,038 lb) shells up to 42 km (26 mi). Visit the memorial complex at the site to see the hospital rooms where wounded soldiers were treated, dark humid bedrooms, and war tunnels, all covered in broken concrete pieces and deformed metal. You'll see exhibits of photographs, as well as installations that depict the atmosphere of this place. • Been with my family, with all the guests coming in Sevastopol (local resident), and these were people of Zaporozhye, Ukraine, Moscow, Ekaterinburg, Simferopol. Liked it all. Celebrated very good content, thoughtful Memorial Exhibition, serious research. Very informative tour, were with different guides-all coped with their work. If appropriate this word Memorial solved creatively, with when creating opportunities to saturate and expand exposure to conduct such activities on its territory.

  • I think it is enough to say that a visit to this museum complex among our annual friends. not enough to visit there once! you cannot tell details. visit and to assess people's feat and love for the city and the history of the creators of the Museum!

  • Monument to the courage and fortitude of the defenders of Sevastopol. The Museum, which will leave no one indifferent. Children under 7 years old are not allowed. To get into the Museum to come better to 8 am wait their turn, there's a chance, then, that will be taken.

  • Pronimaet to tears. Magnificent Guide, very informative excursion. The only caveat is to get tickets can be only in the morning, day in and day out. I came here for 40 minutes before issuing tickets and got them to 13:45 so much turn in early August. They say the off-season this hype is not. In the same way you'd better read the site restrictions on admission to the catacombs, there not allowed children under a certain age and do not advise to go for people with certain medical conditions. Even in the height of summer you can take a warm jacket or even a leather jacket, as when descending to a depth of becomes very cold. Towards the end of the excursion to be very high descent and climb a narrow spiral staircase. Walk on the surface of the Museum allowed and without tickets, tickets in the subway are required to limit the number of excursionists for there very closely and not everywhere safely.

  • I have no words ... Strong place, surprisingly strong. To tears straight ... Wonderful guide, everything is clear and interesting talks, very nice, thanks for the advice the vendor an interesting book! Called "maybe svidimsja else?" Vitaly Fesenko, the defense of Sevastopol. In the best place I was not! Ever so strongly lived all this horror of war, very much, well done, incredibly cool. Tip: guided tours begin at the 10:00, allowed for 30 people, lining up already with 8. We arrived in 7:50, were 4, through half an hour has already been more than 30 people, given the fact that the end of the summer. Wait there is easy, many convenient shops, tuvlet, stall with books and some harmful food. IT is IMPORTANT! though the building and is open until 18:00, buy better tickets in the morning, we arrived in 17:00, never had to hit the next day to go again in the morning. I advise everyone should here, will be in Sevastopol, come here again!

  • A very strong place. Even tears piled up. It is felt that the Museum made from the soul, not stupidly for making money on the heroism of our grandfathers and grandmothers. Many thanks to the sponsors of this Museum and who was involved in his recovery. It's a shame that in the 1990s it was scandalously grabilsja. Tickets are free and you need to drive for them in the morning, an hour before the opening of the cashier wait their turn. Parking is at the main entrance and from the rear of the Museum. Very limited space inside the fortifications, so there are limits on tickets.

  • The place is beautiful. Get long. But besides that come morning, parking is not. is already a big queue to the ticket office for tickets. Tickets buy unreal ordinary tourists. Even on the Internet site of this museum buy too unrealistic. There is constantly 0 tickets. Very unhappy with the fact that in addition to the excursions to visit one impossible. Long would've given for rent recorders to undergo excursions alone. Sorry for the wasted time on a trip to the Museum

  • Places of power .... Otherwise, wouldn't you say, presenting everything that happened here 75 years ago. Unfortunately were Monday, a day off from the Museum and were able to look at the battery only from the outside because of the fence. Definitely need to be hit again.
