Golitsyn Path, Novyi Svit

(4.8/5 based on 360 reviews on the web)
Along the bay, Golitsyn Path takes you through subtropical forests and stony trails to the botanical reserve of Novyi Svit. Stretching for some 5.5 km (3.5 mi), this road meanders along the Green Bay's cliff side, 30-50 m (100-165 ft) above the sea. You can reach it from the bay's southwestern shore. Adventurous tourists peer off the edge, and some do a cliff dive into the sea. You'll also have a chance to see the private beach of the last Russian tsar, Nicholas II. Don't miss the grotto where Prince Golitsyn once threw lavish parties for his guests; the cave also has a freshwater spring inside. By using our Novyi Svit vacation trip planner, you can arrange your visit to Golitsyn Path and other attractions in Novyi Svit.

  • Priehat'v new light and not posetitt' Golitsyn Trail-it is impossible. The walk starts almost from the City Beach. You will first need to pay admission, free of charge for children and you gets to the amazingly beautiful territory. A narrow path leads through the Grotto through huge boulders. But you need to be extremely careful, on-the-go way. Still, a strong wind can slightly hinder the walk. After the Grotto has a beautiful view of the Imperial Beach, where the Royal family loved to vacation. The path takes about 3-4 hours. Then you get into the Juniper open woodlands Grove with relict tree instances. The smell is just divine: light, I want to breathe and enjoy this kind of nature.

  • Recommend. Types of beautiful, the air is clean, and the Sea-Sea ... Was several times in the fall, nor so many people, free admission, marched along the trail along sea slowly.. Just keep in mind that the input and output is a little different, then had to return the car to the entrance, but the distance is not great, but compared to the trail and generally miserable.

  • I probably picked the right time for a walk on a trail of Golitsyn. The Sun was so much walk passed easily and not so tedious. Now is not the season, hence people on the trail and not much can be safely photographed landscapes. The harsh, cold, but no less beautiful. Besides, they say, that summer trail fee required. Beautiful Grotto, but I expected more. By the way, the group behind us with children. By the end of the walk, or rather on Cape Kapchik, kids were smiling and happy summer tour, probably with heavier children. As a result-go worth. On the way to the trail at the company store bought new light champagne, which at the end of the trail you can solemnly open and drink)
