Golitsyn Path, Novyi Svit

4.8
#1 of 6 in Parks in Sudak Municipality
Along the bay, Golitsyn Path takes you through subtropical forests and stony trails to the botanical reserve of Novyi Svit. Stretching for some 5.5 km (3.5 mi), this road meanders along the Green Bay's cliff side, 30-50 m (100-165 ft) above the sea. You can reach it from the bay's southwestern shore. Adventurous tourists peer off the edge, and some do a cliff dive into the sea. You'll also have a chance to see the private beach of the last Russian tsar, Nicholas II. Don't miss the grotto where Prince Golitsyn once threw lavish parties for his guests; the cave also has a freshwater spring inside. Plan a Novyi Svit trip in moments using our itinerary builder.

  • Already one hundred years go in Crimea every summer, but the trail all the time to avoid, as one of the most popular tourist routes (well I don't like crowds), and here are all the same) and do not dare upset drove closer to the evening hours, 7 excursions ended smoothly at this time, apparently, people were a little smaller. The trail is beautiful, it is convenient to go there mostly stage, beautiful views, we walked without excursions, all info can be found online, so we were prepared. People bathed there, right next to the grotto, and further, so if you get tired, you can cool off completely) pass it was not, there's no steep ascents, two hours (that's with all the photoshoots) managed. If you're happy there, take the water there have nowhere to take it, it's just the path in the rocks in the middle of nature. For fans of extreme sports-there are closed through Grotto in Cape Kapchik, there's something like wrought-iron gates of his closes, but underneath you can easily squeeze (who Constitution allows) and pass it, but! in a cave full of bats, hang highly under the arch, so this is for those who are not afraid) and don't limit yourself to only hike on a trail, it leads in Juniper open woodlands Grove, and from there you can walk to mount sentry-both, offering gorgeous views of the nearby coves, get off at Imperial Beach, take a walk in the Woods, gorges, from which, as from the air conditioner blows the gelid air and freshen up well and if you are afraid to get lost, take at least an excursion to sentry-both, I think, will not regret)

  • Walked along the trail to Imperial Beach. The walk itself around 5 km. The trail is made comfortable, stairs, railings. Only directly by the beach went through obscure mountain paths, the path correctly specifying we go with tourists, walking from the beach. The beach itself, of course, have long been far from Imperial ... Crowds of people, muddy water, we, as I understood it, no luck on the day of the visit, there were waves and ran aground many algae and muti, although the idea of beautiful water color. Back return to the boat. Price 200 ₽ per person. Recommend to do so, to the beach, and back to the vessel. As the road still tiring, especially on the heat want to plunge and quickly find themselves in a new light. Otherwise all your vigor after kupashek evaporate and return sweaty and tired.
