  • This is a really great hike, and since it's off the beaten path, you feel as if you've discovered something secret. The hike is an out-and-back (really DOWN and back!) so it's a great workout, punctua...  more »

  • Visited today. Place was easy to find. Very welcoming family. Definitely recommend a 4x4 vehicle with relatively decent clearance to get down the road to the 2nd parking lot where the hiking starts - LOTS of bumps in the road and worth taking your time. Hike was enjoyable. Waterfalls were breathtaking. Downside is that they have 2 taps that are labelled as having drinking water, neither of which worked. Wasn't a huge deal since we brought our own, but we were a sweaty mess by the end and could have used the extra hydration. We swam in the 3rd waterfall. Was fairly shallow and not a lot of rocks on the bottom. Thrilling experience. Would rate moderate difficulty. Essentially 1km uphill on the way back. We both do the stair master on a regular basis and this had us out of breath. There was only one other couple there at the same time, so if you're looking for something less crowded and off the beaten path, this is a great way to go. $16 per person, money well spent.
  • Bellas cataratas, no es apto para personas con dificultad para caminar.
  • Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area!
  • Worth stopping on the way to Monteverde
  • Fabulous!
