(4.6/5 based on 650+ reviews on the web)
Take a trip to Playa Santa Teresa, an attractive and popular part of the coast. The sandy expanse offers a wide space for relaxation and recreation, while the trees that back the beach provide plenty of shade for cooling off after playing a beach game or taking a swim. The beach attracts surfers with its variety of beach breaks, point breaks, and high swells, ideal for more experienced surfers. Head north along the beach to find more secluded areas, with resorts thinning out and the landscape becoming rockier and dotted with more protected bays.
