Playa Carmen, Santa Teresa
Categories: Beaches, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Stroll along the sand or relax in the shade on Playa Carmen, a lengthy beach with room enough to find yourself a quiet spot. Surfers flock here, but the strong tides don't lend themselves much to swimming. Likewise, this may not be the best place for children, though rock pools at low tide provide places to play. Refuel at the onsite restaurant and browse handcrafted jewelry and clothing from the occasional vendor. Make Playa Carmen a centerpiece of your Santa Teresa vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Santa Teresa holiday planner.

A lot of white water which is perfect for beginner surfers like me! I went in september and we were probably only 3-4 people surfing at this beach which made it a perfect beach to learn to surf!
Nice and clean, only a few old threes brought by the warm ocean! You only hear the sound of the waves and see only a few surfists going along the beach looking for good waves.
