Wildlife Area
Search for over twenty species of frog and amphibian at Monteverde Frog Pond, where a collection of terrariums house these colorful creatures. Great marine toads, eye catching poison arrow frogs and the famous red eyed tree frog hide amongst the undergrowth, with knowledgeable guides on hand to help you find them. As most frogs are nocturnal, it is best to visit in the evening to take a tour and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the frogs. A percentage of your admission fee goes toward conservation projects for the frog and toad.
