  • My husband and I, and our three children (11, 10, and 5) went ziplining with Black Stallion and had a wonderful and memorable experience. We were picked up by Alex, the owner, at our resort (Westin) a...  more »

  • The zip lining is a real experience, and much fun. Horse riding not so well liked. Our guide has and more or less the route along disturbed, so we were back again relatively quickly. It was not a comfortable riding and had some of baiting. He spoke only Spanish so that a communication was difficult. It wasn't bad, but I expected more from me

  • We joined Alex for dinner/BBQ and had a fantastic experience. Alex and his staff were welcoming, friendly, attentive, and great conversationalists! We felt like we were just hanging out at a friend's house for a cookout. The food was amazing, including grilled chicken, steak, sausage, fish, several vegetable dishes and amazing fried bread. Dessert was even awesome! There's no rush and was an incredibly laid back experience. If you can fit it in your schedule, you definitely want to come here for dinner while visiting Guanacaste!
  • We had a fun time on the zip lines with Marcos and Horacio. Meeting Alex - a citizen of the world - was really interesting. It was great to chat with him while sipping his pineapple concoction. Highly recommended!
  • This is a fun experience, and the BBQ feast we had after the zip-lining was incredible! Me friend and I signed up for a Sunday and were surprised to see that we were the only ones signed up that day. The staff was welcoming and courteous to us all the same. The zip-line guides were laid back, helpful, and jovial. Alex, the host, drove to Tamarindo to pick us up and drop us off himself. All-around great experience.
  • This was an incredibly enjoyable experience for my family and I! The zip line guides Marcos and Horacio are very experienced guides and were great at preparing my 6 year old for his first ride across the canopy! The horseback ride was also wonderful, the horses were very calm and easy to ride for beginners. The BBQ prepared by Nancy was the best meal we had while traveling in Costa Rica with offerings of chicken, ribs and sausage with a selection of local side dishes. Alex was an accommodating host and made this trip unique and memorable for us!!!
  • We had an amazing time at Black Stallion Ranch on our recent Tamarindo vacation. The zip lines were a blast, and the views were amazing. I was mostly impressed with the kindness of the owner and staff. Far and away the best part of the experience. We will absolutely be going back on our next trip! Our only regret was not being able to make it to the dinner, the spread looked insane!
