  • Being the richest country in the Caribbean has a price, you have to devote to research. However still a little travel has to reach Puerto Rico or Cuba, which are at the forefront in certain fields. Costa Rica strives a lot, for example, in the specialty that deals, there is already a team dedicated to the biological quality of water that as little, it deserves a place among the greats. At the State level, it is another issue, I get the impression they are neglecting a bit regarding urban discharges. Ojito, can pass bill to tourism, the most important commitment of the country.

  • (+) The campus of the University never has been planned as a tourist attraction, but it is a delight to walk among the buildings of the various faculties, appreciating the colors and paintings that decorate them, but above all the wonderful present throughout the complex nature. (-) Being a student area and not a tourist site, there is no route of visit or anything like. It is easy to get lost and find some corners something careless, a little very Latin American chaos, not to mention a healthy dose of anti-system sometimes virulent demonstrations. Conclusion: although it is not a site that is listed in the brochures for travellers, love I carry foreign friends to visit the campus of my alma mater, a site full of trees and animals where you can breathe peace and life that are not found in any other corner of the city. Recommendations: roofed paths that crisscross the campus always been me fascination, especially on rainy days. UCR has two little known and visited attractions: its Planetarium and Museum of insects.

  • I traveled to Costa Rica this summer to study abroad and improve my Spanish. During my two month stay, I studied Spanish at the Universidad de Costa Rica. I cannot express enough how much this place has changed my life forever. I will, for the rest of my life, live with a 'pura vida' mentality. All the amazing women at this school were some of the most influential people I have ever met and I am forever changed because of them.
  • The best uni in CR but with very small and hot classrooms. The food from the cafeteria in Generales, Derecho, Comedor Estudiantil, Letras sucks because of it's low quality although it's cheap.
  • One of the best Universities of Costa Rica
  • Good university guys!
  • My Alma Mater
