  • The Simon Bolivar Parque Zoo was closed when I attempted to visit. The main steel gates were chained and pad-locked shut, with other entrances also closed. No staff were on site to give any advice as ...  more »
  • it is a small zoo but quaint. lots of birds as you would expect. a few large animals. beautiful area. worth the time to visit an hour or so 
  • A small Zoo in the city, which the Government of Costa Rica is about to close before the end of the year and release animals at will. Sorry for animals that are crammed into small tight cells. Bad organized fun. I do not recommend
