Stroll around National Park (Parque Nacional) in the heart of San Jose. Escape the heat under a vast array of shady spots among the palms and deciduous trees. During the day courting couples and retirees can be commonly seen hanging out on the benches and picnic tables. Old monuments fill the park devoted to Latin American historical figures, and at the center sits the Monumento Nacional, a dramatic 1953 statue depicting the Central American nations driving out American filibuster William Walker. • not worth bothering with. The coach was late which meant everything was rushed and too noisy for being able to see anytihng
  • It has a nice historical monument and green areas, but nothing more. Perhaps as a stroll in the nearby rest stop okay

  • Freshness, good air and friendly people practically in the Centre of the city of San Jose. Despite being surrounded by buildings, it offers nature in its entirety. Not will need transport to get to this place.
