  • With our Nomad America 4x4 with rooftop tent we found this beautiful place to camp. Not busy we were alone. Nice view of the lagoon (you can make a short walk), clean toilets, electricity, running...  more »

  • We enjoyed a nice Sunday afternoon here. The place was packed with people, but still had a peaceful atmosphere. Very family oriented with big groups of people just enjoying a leisurely afternoon. Alcohol was being consumed at various gatherings, but didn't see anyone abusing it. Actually kind of surprised at that. It's a nice easy walk around the lake, and very picturesque. It was dry season when we visited and the dust in the road and parking area was unbelievable. I'm sure it can be quite messy when it rains. Dust didn't affect us at all where we ate. You can actually walk around and find a spot to sit, relax, eat, all around the lake. Plenty of shade. We usually don't enjoy going to places on the weekend when they're crowded, but actually it was a nice experience. Would go again. There are bathrooms and they had people stationed at each one, cleaning frequently. That was a nice touch. Cost 2000 colones per person to enter.
  • Very pretty and peaceful lake. You can walk all the way around it on a flat path, just beware of the tree roots. Not strenuous at all. Took us an hour max and we were going at a lesiurely pace. There are some other trails that branch off that you could explore too. You can bring any food or drink into the park with you. Costs 2000 colones to get in per person. I would recommend coming on a week day if you can as it gets crowded on the weekend.
  • Amazing place. It's a great place to camp or to just go and have a nice day. It has a small walk around the lake and you can take your pets with you!
  • We did a short trail around this beautiful lake. Great place to spend the night, has good camping facilities.
  • Nice place beautiful views, but no others facilities like a restaurant
