Wildlife Area
Hike trails and traverse hanging bridges at Puentes Colgantes del Arenal, a beautiful, easygoing rainforest hike, culminating at an impressive waterfall. Hire a local guide, who will point out the vast diversity of wildlife living in the forests, from impressive flora, to tree frogs, monkeys, and snakes. After all that, rest and refuel in the restaurant at the entrance to the park, which serves Costa Rican dishes. Be sure to wear sturdy footwear, as you won’t be allowed on the site in flip flops. Bring a waterproof poncho, and, of course, your camera. • A great place to visit with wonderful view to the Arenal Volcano. Bridges to different and spectacular heights. In the highest bridge you will see the tops of the trees to the level you are going... and the lagoon of the volcano in the background. Walk of one hour per excellent and care paths... It has guide service if anyone wants it... but they deliver a very complete descriptive map that allows you to visit the site with the appropriate hand information. I have visited the place on four occasions... and captivates me always... Service in restaurant very good and according to the cuisine of the area. Visit it. .. you will not regret...

  • Excellent ride, novel but the promise of seeing animals apart from howler monkeys being ignored or not lucky is a path in the middle of a nature exuberant and charming, cross suspension bridges beautiful, but not advisable if you are afraid of heights.
