Relax in seclusion at Playa Chiquita, a small, untouched beach nestled in the jungle. An abundance of palm trees line the beachfront, with white sand dipping into crystal blue water. Explore vibrant coral reefs while snorkeling, or test your surfing skills among the waves. Be sure to stay within the designated surf areas, as the waters can get rough with rips. To reach the beach, take one of the trails connecting from the main road. When exploring the habitat, look out for monkeys, toucans, and sloths. • The beach is very beautiful and little-visited (the day we were at least) since the entrance is in the middle of a ring of bushes where only you can go on foot or by bike, unable to enter horses, carts or motorcycles. You have to walk 500 m by an entry to get to the beach then is better to go light, truck leaves out on main street on a bank available which can be a little insecure. The day we went after noon the waves was very strong so it is a bit dangerous to try to swim there, too had 2 nudist families which can be uncomfortable for people that this matter bother them, by what others worth knowing and visit already faster than all the beaches (uva, chiquita and cocles) are very close.
