(4.7/5 based on 100+ reviews on the web)
A trip toChocorart lets you discover a world very similar to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. Owned by a Swiss couple, this attraction allows visitors to see the transformation of raw beans into a cup of hot chocolate. Learn how the cocoa beans are harvested, fermented, and cooked using traditional Mayan methods that date back many centuries. Completely organic, the chocolate produced here contains no artificial additives. Taste different types of chocolate and make sure you drop by the gift shop to collect a few sweet souvenirs for the trip back home. • David gave us the tour and he did a great job. We ate many fruits we have never seen and experienced the whole chocolate making process. It was fantastic. At the end we drank fresh hot chocolate and sampled different chocolates made at the farm.
