  • We were only one time in this beach with my family, but it was my favourite. Big waves, beautiful nature, not many people. It is a best place if you can surf. There is tremendous strength in the waves wh...  more »
  • I did not know, if do a review of this beach because if it had a little of its magic, perhaps the people them visit more and that takes away a little of what makes it special. It is a small beach with white sand and crystalline sea. It has restaurants, and other amenities, so you should be prepared for a good picnic with refreshments.

  • Amazing beach with not even one house near by. That makes it pure magic and a true beach adventure. The ocean is amazing and with some rocks on low tie you may have small ocean pools. Is a great beach...  more »

  • Perfect place! There’s nothing to buy food or drinks so just get your things to spend the day and see the best sunset. The road to get there is kind of difficult, it’s better if you have a pick up.
  • This is a remote non popular beach, wonderful with white sands and forest all around you. Little visited and only accessible by 4x4 car, especially during the rainy season. It is a beach about 2Km long and probably one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. No grocery stores nor restrooms are available nearby. If you want to get some supplies the nearest beaches are Garza or Samara. However, it is worth visiting.
  • One of the most beautiful beach for me in Costa Rica. Access is very hard. SUV is 100% needed. Water is clear. Not much people. Very relaxing beach.
  • We have been visiting this beach several times and as other people mentioned it is not too easy accessable. You won't need a 4x4, but a vehicle with higher ground clearance would do fine. There aren't any facilities and the beach is not suitable for younger children, because of it's strong current and big waves. Although the biggest concern is, that we talked to several local people and they told us, that there is a big problem with snakes called Lance otters in the back of the beach. Lance otters bites are highly poisonous, so be aware. Our recommendation is that you will go past Samara to a beach called Playa Carillo. This beach has calm waters and nice bright sand. There are also some tables and chairs and a lot of trees to bring your hammock. Pura Vida
