  • Not busy, but some people are walking along the water or taking sun, just perfect. We swam, walked the beach, very relaxing even though it has few restaurants along it. We liked Playa Hermosa even bet...  more »

  • Great beach. Guessing about a mile long. Beach is very populated on most days. Good snorkeling on the south end. No waves hardly at all while we've been here. 4-5 restaurants within walking distance that are on the beach. Another few on the main road within 2 blocks. Plenty of activities here. Snorkeling, Scuba, jet skis and kayaks/equipment for rent. Plenty of fishing boats for 1/2 day and day fishing trips. We paid $475 for 2 separate half day fishing excursions ($237.50 for each day - 4 people included in price). 8-10 minutes from the Coco beach area.
  • Beautiful beach. Quiet and slower paced than Plays Del Cocoa with much less crowds. Good restaurants on the beach as well as anew blocks up the main street leading in. Well worth it.
  • Nice clean beach lots of restaurants to try out. More low key than Tamarindo beach. Lots of trees to sit under to avoid the super hot sun
  • Nice beach. Never felt unsafe, or like my things were going to get stolen. Water was pretty calm, so good for a non swimmer like me. Plenty of birds to watch diving in for a fish snack. Please remember shoes, because by noon, the sand is blazing hot on your feet! Only downside was beer hut was closed when we were there.
  • Beautiful beach. Restaurant nearby with chairs & loungers. Get lunch or just a drink. Very laidback. No idea where someone paid $20 to park. We parked practically on the beach for nothing. Gave the guy to “watch” the car 200 colones or whatever you want on the way out.
