  • We loved this beach. It was one of the best beaches I have been to in Costa Rica. The water is clear, the sand is a little bit shelly by the water but smoother up towards the trees. We hung out here a...  more »

  • Beautiful white beach, little people, sunshine... But at the time, one can not bounce into the normally crystal clear and beautiful water, because through the Marina is Denise unfortunately brown-red turbid dyed and is also not healthy. It smells like dead fish and most fish are because of the annual natural phenomenon actually also dead on the beach. It is probably located on the phytoplankton and is a natural process which day 3-15 can take, usually once per year at an undetermined time. The sea cleans his disease say the fishermen. It's a pity for bathing and not so good for the respiratory system... But since you can change anything about it and that there are probably everywhere in warm areas, such as I heard. Beware of crocodiles and currently be careful also when the consumption of fish and seafood from these waters. Lucky looks great color games and in the evening, iridescent light in the water similar to northern lights.

  • A beautiful beach which is more quiet and relaxed than more glamorous Tamarindo neighbor. Need to drive few hundred meters on unpaved road but not a major issue even with a basic car. There is a kind of informal parking with the self-appointed attendant who will guide where to park and will "watch" your car for 500 colones. The area near the parking is a little more crowded, there are some stalls with drinks and souvenirs. If are you not lazy, the best is t walk some 300-400 meters and than you to get to a serene area with very few people around, trees coming almost all the way to the water and a beautiful unspoiled beach. The water is much quieter compared to many other beaches around too, so it's good for swimming
  • The best one in the area. Not recomended for small kids.
  • Beautiful beach with options to rent chairs and shade from locals. One of the nicest beaches in Guanacaste.
  • It’s a beautiful beach!!! The sand is a little Shelly—hence the name of the beach (conchal=seashell in Spanish) but is not hard to walk on and you can find soft spots to sit on. The water is clear and calm, minimal waves - great for kids. You enter through Brasilito beach. You can rent chairs, umbrellas, a tent, and do water sports there. We were there on a Tuesday and it was not busy. Definitely recommend!
  • One of the best beaches in Guanacaste Cista Rica. It's truly a hidden gem. Its gets a bit busy during the weekends with the locals but during the weeks it's really quiet. You could rent a jet ski here for $80 for the hour and the water is very nice. When the tide is high this beach is good for kids since its shallow for a good distance but if the tide is low then shallow part is much smaller. In my opinion after visiting 7 beaches in the Pacific coast of costa rica I think this is the most beautiful one.
