Palo Seco Beach, Parrita

4.1
#10 of 17 in Beaches in Province of Puntarenas
Beach Nature / Park
Treat your feet to the soft black sand of Palo Seco Beach as you stroll by the Pacific Ocean. Abundant with palm trees, sea shells, and surf friendly waters, the long thin stretch of beach is an excellent location to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Bring your own food and retreat to one of the picnic areas under the shade of trees. Collect sea shells as you walk along the sand and look out for hermit crabs dashing towards the water. Be aware of strong currents and rips if you decide to go swimming. A picturesque sunset awaits those who stick around until dusk. Plan your visit to Palo Seco Beach and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Parrita itinerary planner.
