  • I loved Tapanti Park. The walks are great but very challenging. Especially if it's raining. Not much wildlife about but still very beautiful. Worth a visit Cost 12000 Colones for two of us  more »
  • Hiked the middle trail, but saw very little in the way of wildlife. A few birds, and then on the way driving out, saw a Coati. If you're not a local, it's $10 per person. $20 bucks for my wife and I, ...  more »

  • Very beautiful national park. Was quite isolated and less touristy, but still had great hiking trails down to the river and up through the mountains. A little tough to get to, but its worth the trip!
  • Very nice place for a hike. The road to get there is a bit bumpy, make sure your car is up for that. Really beautiful countryside views on the drive out.
  • Parque Nacional Tapanti is a good place to make a daytrip from San Josè. There are beatiful pathways throug the typical rainforst with all the great diversity of plants and animals!
  • A nice hike just like every other park with different difficulties. Probably not worth it if you're a serious hiker, Orosi is surrounded by beautiful mountains that are easily accessible and easy to wander through, especially with the $10 entrance fee.
  • There is a lot of nature! Landscape is incredible!
