  • Being from the Northwest, I expected being closer to the one visible waterfall, and there is truly nothing to see near the hiking trails. Flora are the same as the surrounding valley, and hiking trail...  more »
  • The Park offers hiking trails of different lengths and levels of difficulty. We went up the long trail, which was somewhat tiring, but rewarded us with a magnificent nature. From noon, one of the legendary shower, so rain gear started don't forget.

  • I went with my partner to know and we loved it. They charge 800 colones for national, super well! The road therefore is full of gaps and bridges in disrepair, go with caution. The air that we breathe there is simply regenerating, as well as its water. The whole place looks very clean and care. The trails, although we didn't do all very cute and fully to take advantage of them to disconnect from everything. We didn't see animals out of the ordinary, only butterflies. But if, too tuanis place! Congratulations to all those people who take care of these "lungs" that so important is for our environment. Greetings from Belén, Heredia. FAITH ♡♡

  • Awesome trip, we hike the easy and medium trails. Both actually are pretty easy, coming back to do the rest for sure.
  • Very beautiful national park. Was quite isolated and less touristy, but still had great hiking trails down to the river and up through the mountains. A little tough to get to, but its worth the trip!
  • Very nice place for a hike. The road to get there is a bit bumpy, make sure your car is up for that. Really beautiful countryside views on the drive out.
  • Parque Nacional Tapanti is a good place to make a daytrip from San Josè. There are beatiful pathways throug the typical rainforst with all the great diversity of plants and animals!
  • A nice hike just like every other park with different difficulties. Probably not worth it if you're a serious hiker, Orosi is surrounded by beautiful mountains that are easily accessible and easy to wander through, especially with the $10 entrance fee.
