  • We did with Curu turismo output to Isla Tortuga + snorkeling. The boat ride is nice, but the output is not essential either. The snorkeling spot is crowded and there is almost nothing to see, limited visibility. Half a day on the beach is nice but a bit too touristy, with crowded boats, music, paid neighboring beach. We were a little surprised that, in the case of a "Park". Friendly staff, beautiful landscapes. We didn't have time to make the tour of the Park of Curu, but that more resembled a giant zoo / life-size, as a real national park. With children it is convenient, since the monkeys and other wild animals (domesticated?) you coincided along your presence in the Park.

  • Beautiful snorkeling easy and simple for children. Many varieties of fish but not translucent like water elsewhere. It's great for kids in first experience. The Caribbean or caymans 10 x better. Although jungle trail and we have seen a lot of monkeys and deer. Beach relaxing to do more at low tide as high (more than sand)

  • We have made the Bioluminiscensetour in the refuge and it was the undisputed highlight of the whole Costa Rica trip. Drive first grueling 3 km sea kayak to a Cove in which to arrive at sunset (Playa Quesada). Alternatively, you can translate a motorized accompanying boat. But then miss the fascinating trip. On the beach there are fruits and drinks, all not very professional and so graciously. You can swim in the sea and snorkelling. When it's really dark, the sea starts to Flash and sparkle when you move. So to speak, star trails in the water can be produced. Although I knew what to expect, I was then but it totally overwhelmed. You have time to play here and to bring the sea approximately 90 min. Felt much too short. Then it goes back via kayak, with each paddle stroke caused a Flash of sea surface. Also fleeing fish herzogen light traces behind. The way back was felt 80% shorter. :-) This phenomenon of Puerto Rico, the Maldives, and San Diego is known. Curu is not mentioned in this list, which is totally incomprehensible. All the more beautiful, a little secret have discovered. The day's activities comply with otherwise the usual options in Costa Rica.Bei full moon should not quite so spectacular it, logically.
