The theme at Monteverde Theme Park consists of frogs, and lots of them! Amongst the leafy undergrowth find 28 species of frog and toad, from brightly colored poison dart frogs to the famous red eyed tree frog. The butterfly and insect houses also contain an impressive collection of rare indigenous creepy crawlies. To make the most of the collection, have one of the knowledgeable guides take you around the park, and on the same ticket, come back for the night tour to catch a glimpse of the nocturnal species living here.   • There are many different kinds of frogs to find and the guide provides good explanation. Especially for the children it was very nice to all frogs. You may come back in the evening at no extra charge and you should certainly do because the frogs than extra active.

  • I like to observe animals in their natural environment and me am decided backwards for this 'attraction' to see frogs. "Frog Pond' could suggest that it was a small piece of forest under Bell." I therefore saw, but I regretted because these poor beasts are actually small showcases and not in a large canopy as I had imagined it to me. Sad.
