Wildlife Area
The theme at Monteverde Theme Park consists of frogs, and lots of them! Amongst the leafy undergrowth find 28 species of frog and toad, from brightly colored poison dart frogs to the famous red eyed tree frog. The butterfly and insect houses also contain an impressive collection of rare indigenous creepy crawlies. To make the most of the collection, have one of the knowledgeable guides take you around the park, and on the same ticket, come back for the night tour to catch a glimpse of the nocturnal species living here. • This place was really amazing and have the guide was essential. David had a vast knowledge on the subject and had a great sense of humour. If you don't pay for the guide you will have trouble locating...  more »
  • With the same input we went twice, a visit on our own where we could see the insects indicated and visit the frog at the time we thought was poor. We returned by the WWE with the guided view, a guide that is passionate about his work, the frogs are activated at night, we could see at least a copy of each species. It was something different. unlikely that on another occasion, we can see that variety of frogs.
