  • This is a "must see" if you are in Monteverde. The tours are so informative. Not only will you learn about butterflies, you can also see walking sticks, tarantulas, Hercules beetles, scorpions and more. I was there in August when a group of Monkeys arrived. They thought the screen above the butterfly garden was a trampoline. We watched in awe for about 30 minutes while the monkeys played. My kids were so thrilled!!
