Nature Observatorio, Manzanillo

(5/5 based on 140+ reviews on the web)
Observe panoramic views of Costa Rican jungle at Nature Observatorio, a privately-owned treehouse at the heart of lush forest. The treehouse is a modern and safe construction with two floors suspended by nylon straps, and follows an eco-friendly principle whereby the huose is removed and built onto another tree to preserve the life of the forest. Treks to the treehouse usually take around 30 minutes on-foot through biodiverse jungle, before climbing to the top of the treehouse for an excellent reward of panoramic views spanning the jungle and Caribbean Ocean. The trail can be pretty muddy, so be sure to wear appropriate footwear. Plan your visit to Nature Observatorio and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Manzanillo trip itinerary maker.

  • Definitely a must do, even though this is not for everyone's budget. Very pleasant reception by Peter. During the hike to the treehouse wik have been lucky enough to an agouti, a fer de Lance snake, a eyelash tree viper and multiple frogs. To the treehouse we were welcomed by Haddad monkeys and 1 spider monkey. Yourself in the treehouse hoisting is nice but a bit tiring. From the treehouse we have next to the beautiful sight several monkeys, toucans, parakeets spotted. Peter and Theresa have a super tea made with products from nature because I what was suffering from my stomach. The tea has certainly not missed its operation. I will definitely be back
