Free Natural Hot Springs, La Fortuna de San Carlos

Categories: Hot Springs, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.4/5 based on 750+ reviews on the web
Maneuver around jagged rocks to find a spot at Free Natural Hot Springs. Because the hot springs are often crowded with tourists and locals (even in the late evening), be ready to hike a little upstream if you prefer a more peaceful, secluded spot. For those that want to swim at night, bring a flashlight, because there are no light sources here. If you plan to stay awhile, bring along drinks and snacks. Wear comfortable shoes, as the jagged rocks can be painful to walk on.
