  • Took a bus tour to this out-of-the-way garden on a hilltop. Beautiful gardens with a view of the ocean & a waterfall. Owner is open & friendly. Driving in a bus is difficult due to winding Mt...  more »
  • We visited this mountain garden and were very impressed. Long paths and stairs led through the gardens. We saw eagles and macaws. The view was fantastic. There were only a few people there so we.....  more »
  • As a waterfall destination, Pura Vida Gardens is a complete fail. The waterfall is off in the distance and this time of year little water is flowing. As a nature walk with myriad tropical plants...  more »
  • Is pretty but.. $20 us pp and you're on own to walk. Pretty views but not maintained - don't lean on the railings. The mountainside restaurant on the way back down is a gem to stop at and take in the view with a nice cool beverage.
  • Lovely gardens, well worth the admission. You could easily spend 2-3 hours wandering and photographing. Waterfall is a bust, follow short trail for long distance view, That's it. If you go, know that the road up takes a while so preservere. If you like flowers It's worth it
  • These gardens were beautiful, it was part of an excursion from our cruise ship. The views and plants were stunning. It was made special because I was using crutches following a knee operation and couldn't make it to certain parts of the garden. The lovely kind owner drove me down in his car so I could see the waterfalls x
  • Well kept gardens. Go in the wet season though as impressive waterfalls are a far less impressive in dry season
  • Far too maintained. Like a your well looked after home garden
