  • My boyfriend and I came across this place while driving through the area and we are extremely glad we stopped in. This is a small, family operated business and a great learning experience. It was $23 ...  more »
  • Sus guías son increíbles en especial Esteban,es una experiencia inigualable 5 estrellas merecidas Se los recomiendo
  • This was excellent! Worth the trip Great guide victor Very knowledgeable Family owned and excellent with small children. What to see? Snakes, tree frogs, reptiles, crocs, turtles. No monkeys sloths or birds. Worth the drive from fortuna. The road is a bit rough and unpaved. No hay problema- Pura vida
  • The Zoo has many animals. Many of them have little to no space and open sores on their skin. Additionally my girlfriend and I paid for a private tour and 30 minutes into the tour they grouped in a large family of 6 who completely hijacked our tour. This led to a very disappointing experience and a waste of money. Go at your own risk.
  • A unique experience to see some reptiles you might not be able to find on your own, we learned a lot from our guide
  • Nicest and most friendly place to see some reptiles in Costa Rica, if you are interested in visiting a Serpentario and also want to be able to touch them, Arenal Eco Zoo is the place to go.
  • Snakes, spiders, turtles, crocodile, butterflies. Lots of "critters" in cages and tanks to look at. We had a tour from the owner's son and he was very knowledgeable in what they had in their facility. Not sure about the meals they were just OK. If you want a close up look with the local critters this is the place to see.
