  • Wow, what a surprise. I've been to a few serpentariums in Costa Rica in the past, and they were fine, but Reptilandia is the best I've visited. The habitats are really well designed, with a lot of att...  more »
  • The opinions were divided in our family 2 or 3 at 5. 2.5 as a compromise. Yes, there are snakes, turtles, a monitor lizard, iguana, etc. , animals you otherwise impossible all in nature. But ... the whole looks dirty and unkempt. An hour you're also around (and then you have time spent on the snakes in their habitat to look for). What began as a hobby maybe serpetarium, seems to be overgrown and too big to properly maintain. Then it is $12 for adults and $6 to 14 years far.

  • Very personal experience. Employee fed some animals right in front of us. Great price for the experience!
  • 6000 collones, nice for a short visit. They have alot if snakes, turtles, crocodiles and more.
  • This is a great reptile zoo, with many snakes lizards turtles etc. My favorite thing was the Crocodile named Crocita. She would come over to you when you made a kissing sound that the zoo keeper taught us :) super fun!
  • One thing about life in the Costa Ballena region is quite clear...we are not alone! The abundance of rainforest and marine life that oozes from the landscape every day and night can be humbling to the human species. But every critter you encounter has a purpose, and Parque Reptilandia offers the opportunity to acquaint yourself with Costa Rica’s abundant reptiles. Just 7 minutes from Dominical and 20 minutes from Uvita, right next to Nauyaca Waterfalls, Parque Reptilandia offers the largest exhibition of reptiles in Costa Rica, including snakes, lizards, turtles and frogs. In all, 90 species are represented, with educational programs for children and adults aimed at familiarization with some of our rainforest neighbors.
  • Lovely park, great collection, definitely worth a visit!
