  • Absolutely beautiful beach and wildlife refuge. We stayed here for the better part of a day, and it is a treat. Lots of wildlife spottings during the trip, great birdwatching, and beautiful, clean...  more »
  • Good experience with my family! At the entrance they demanded us to open our bags to check them, also they did not allow us to enter some folding chairs that we brought, I really do not understand...  more »
  • I was disappointed with this beach due to my expectations because of all the great reviews people have given it. White sand beaches? No. Crystal clear water? No. Warm water? Yes. After traveling to...  more »

  • Beautiful park and beautiful beach. This place has awesome clear water and great hiking trails. It's home to different kinds of wildlife, absolutely worth a visit! If you bring food just be mindful of the raccoons.
  • Amazing park! Good clear trail with easy footing, it's even got a boardwalk for part of the path. Lots and lots of wildlife but it's best to get a local guide to go with you to point out the animals as otherwise they are really hard to see sometimes. We used Caribe Fun Tours and the guide was excellent: very knowledgeable, engaging and had great English to explain everything and answer questions.
  • Beautiful, pristine, and secluded beaches. Lots of walking trails where if you're patient you can see a variety of wildlife, birds, monkeys, crustaceans... beware of the raccoons if you bring food with you. They are not afraid of humans and are quite bold! (I saw people lose their lunches to the rascals!) The water is perfect. Temperature and waves were among the best I've ever experienced. So peaceful and relaxing! (Even though the ocean stole my snorkel tube I still loved this place). We spent a couple days here and entered both from Cahuita (busier... more people on this side) and from the main park entrance. Didn't get a chance to experience the full trail walk but apparently some areas close at certain times of the day so make certain to ask the guides if you need more info.
  • Fabulous National Park! Howler monkeys, White face monkeys, sloths. Lovely shaded path that goes on for mikes. Beautiful beaches with massive beach almond trees for shade all along the shore.
  • Lots of wildlife! We saw sloths, monkeys, raccoons & more. Plus beautiful beaches. Head passed the point if you’re looking for a secluded beach all to yourself. Water shoes recommended because of all the shells. Admission is free but donations are appreciated. Bring water & snacks - it’s a long hike.
