  • Visited today, in the pouring rain so this may have tarnished it somewhat! But it was a nice enough walk and pretty scenery, but it wasn't worth the $35 price tag for me. The €5 hummingbird section wo...  more »
  • A good place to go for some lovely walks and beautiful pictures of the hanging bridges. Caught in the rain, but even he is not spoiled. Animals except birds not seen walking without a guide, but not upset, as were many places in Costa Rica and saw all the animals. Throughout the Park are laid tracks, no extreme trails Super descents and inclines, so is suitable for everyone. At the entrance of a wonderful view of the volcano, if it is sunny doubly lucky. Recommend.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park. Our guide, Marvin, is very, very knowledgeable and so willing to answer questions. He spotted many birds and animals for us and, ...  more »

  • If you enjoy waiting in line then Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park is your place to be. 3108m and a 2 hour walk on a paved flat road gives you an idea of how long you are waiting waiting. On each of the six hanging bridges are just 15 persons allowed at a time. The view from this bridges is quite nice and with everyone taking pictures the wait in front of them is long. There are some animals to see but with all the people walking and talking they are far away.
  • I loved being there! I would definetly go again! It was an amazing experience. We didn’t have a guide but saw a sloth, very big lizard, bats and monkeys. Unfortunately the sloth was on top of the tree so no picture:( We spent around 3 hours here.
  • We arrived at Mistico Hanging Bridges with a tour group, and I am SO glad we did. Having a guide allowed us to see so many animals I'm sure we would have missed otherwise! The park is really easy to get through, with limited hills, it's all paved and the "hike" is very nice. I did not expect the bridges to be wobbly, but they did move quite a bit! Being that high up was sort of exhilarating! A few of the bridges reach over 250 feet above the rainforest floor. The views are gorgeous. The different type of plants and flowers are just so pretty. With the help of our guide, we spotted howler monkeys, an eyelash pit viper, bats in a hollow log, a toucan, and a number of cool insects and lizards. The bridges are definitely an adventure you should not miss while in Costa Rica!
  • Great adventure park for the whole family. Beautiful views, wild life and cool experience crossing the hanging bridges! It is a safe place for kids, I highly recommend you visit this park. Prices are fare, the staff is really friendly.
  • Horseback Riding - In the early Spring my family travelled to Costa Rica and simply drove around for a week. On a brief stay in the area of La Fortuna we went on a horseback trip booked with Mistico at the park. It was very nice and my two young sons very much enjoyed it. The guide spoke English well and took a lot of time ensuring that we saw a lot of wildlife such as local birds and monkeys. It was well worth the money. The kids also did the giant balls down the hill. I think they are called Zorbes. This was over rather quickly, but again, it was worth the money in the long run.
