  • Being Juan Santamaría national hero par excellence in the history of Costa Rica, and the historical character pride of Alajuela, the square dedicated his commemoration is far from what could be an effort to make better use of such large space, with a greater contribution of available art and architecture. Today is a multi-purpose space for patineteros, concerts, exhibitions, stops buses, etc, and that perhaps do not allow you define a style. However, know the hero in the square is a must when visiting the city.
