  • Oddly, these caves are not very visited. Visited on a bad weather day, very good alternative however you must find, because even at our hotel they did not know. Rely on the GPS, 1 hour drive d El Castillo on a small track. Our son of 6 years and loved, a great experience away from the tourist sites and mass tourism. You do come across anyone except the bald mice. They lend boots, helmet and lamp front. Leave in your car bag and phones except if waterproof because you come out soaked but worth, it romps, crawling, we climb, we spend in mouse holes. The guide was very friendly with clear explanations. Input bit expensive taking into account prices to Costa Rica ($ 20 per person included guide and stuff)

  • This tour is ideal for if you like to visit caves, is walking in the dark, on rocks, underground streams, i.e. a good adventure. Hehehe. The entrance has also been the least expensive with respect to any other tour you hire in La fortuna, except transportation. We had rented a car so that by 28 dollars per person live a great experience. The people of the place gives you flashlight, rain boots and a not very large group of visitors on the tour of 2 hours. There are showers, to change clothes, always carry a dumb extra dry clothes. I owe them the photos, it can not be entered with camera, but accompanies you a photographer who for 20 usd gives you a cd, in my case not to chose it and now :(

  • If you can brave residents of the eight-legged variety, this is a MUST-SEE. The caverns are incredible. The guides are fantastic and super knowledgeable. There are lots of great surprises in store, and you will climb, swim, and hike into every one.
  • Google Maps claims no roads go to Vernado, but Waze can take you straight to the cave entrance. Or take 4 into Venado and continue through town and out the other side to the cave. Knee pads make low crawls easier, and get ready to climb through tight spaces! The guides are great, and and we had one to our 2-person group. They adjust the tour to your level. They're investing in the place, with a beautiful swimming pool. It's a great place to go underground and trek through a wet cave!
  • A fun guided river cave (low flow) with some crawling and a little climbing in spots. Lots of cave crickets and a few bats. Bring knee pads elbow pads if you have them. Fresh fruit served after.
  • There is good service, good price, the guides are amazing. The place is so natural. Las caverna is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. It is a place everyone has to visit.
  • Absolutely amazing,, brilliant guide to take us through with lots of knowledge and passion for taking tourists round the caves. The caves were fascinating to see,, so happy we visited while in Costa Rica.
