Wigmore's Waterfall, Rarotonga
Categories: Waterfalls, Nature & Parks
Splash into the swimming hole at the base of Wigmore's Waterfall, where water cascades down a sloping cliff. Bring your water shoes if you plan to swim, and wear plenty of bug repellant to chase off mosquitos. Before you go, ask the locals if the waterfall is worth visiting. During the dry season, the government redirects water to the town supply, leaving the waterfall almost completely dry. Wigmore's Waterfall is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our online itinerary creator, Rarotonga Edition.
