5/5 based on 20+ reviews on the web
An island famed for appearing in reality television shows, the uninhabited Moturakau boasts lush natural scenery and blue waters ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and boating. Take a short jungle walk through the island forest and look for various plants and birds. As you walk across the warm sand, keep an eye out for coconut crabs. Though harmless, these creatures can pinch your feet with surprising strength. Reach the island by joining a lagoon tour or by renting a boat in Aitutaki. Put Moturakau on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Aitutaki vacation route planner.

  • Still a beautiful island in the Aitutaki Lagoon. A place of beauty that it is hard to put into words and that the pictures do not do her beauty.

  • Island nestled amid scenic strayed in the picture will fueled the dying spirit of adventure. That everyone who visited this island would stay for a while with tent-and where it is. Night sky is incredibly beautiful and the tour guide who said. It is certainly pleasant.

  • Aitutaki isn't that large, so this is a must see alongside one foot island. Chances are every tour stops here, but just in case, make sure it does!
