Aitutaki Adventures Reviews
Don't hesitate to book a lagoon cruise with Captain Puna! He picks you up in his truck and drops you off at the end of the day so it's super easy. And if you can, book for a Sunday, as he's the only o... more »
En general la excursión fue muy bien. Nos llovió un poco pero no nos quitó las ganas de meternos en el agua. La comida abundante y rica aunque nos dijeron que comeríamos pescado y no había. The Islands we visited very cool and leave you a little on each island to get photos and offered to take pictures also. They will explain the history of each motu and it's very funny!
Captain Puna is a great guide and guy. We had a fantastic day out with him... snorkelling and sightseeing. The lunch he put on with his sons on One Foot Island was sensational. We are going back to Ai... more »
A true gem in the middle of the South Pacific. Loved every bit of my stay in Aitutaki. From delicious sea food, to a fun ride through the forest next to the beach where we encountered numerous crabs to the hanging wines on the trees, etc. Then there are stunning lagoons to dive and snorkel. Have seen a few giant clams which where bigger than a mid aged kid. One foot island is also a must visit whilst there. I will be back...
This place comes near to heaven. Not too crowded, beautiful beaches, friendly people and even WW II history. It's difficult to get here, but this can be an advantage, too.
Is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited! Spent 10 days on this prestine island enjoyed tones of culture, fantastic food and great entertainment. I really enjoyed the snorkeling and island tours. And listened to fantastic stories about how the island was discovered and entertaining folklaw tales. I Got to visit the most remote postoffice in the world and got a special stamp for my passport too. The views were second to none. I would highly recommend visiting Aitutaki before the rest of the world finds out how awesome it is. 😁
Aitutaki has one of the most beautifull lagoons in the world. A lagoon tour while onthe island is a must. The island itself is unbelievably beautiful. It is very small, and quiet. Locals are friendly to tourists. few resorts offer beachfront villas, which is the best way to experience the island. I personally liked the east side (not the lagoon side) better. the water is clearer, snorkelling is good right off the beach and one can enjoy the sunsets. Plus there are nice breezes on that side.
