Pozos Azules, Villa de Leyva

#1 of 8 in Parks in Boyaca Department
Take a hike through the hills as you observe the lakes of Pozos Azules. Embark on a trek that takes you between the various lakes, which feature differently colored water due to the minerals. Swim in the blue or green lakes to cool off. The area does not have much shade and you will be almost always in direct sunlight, so plan accordingly. Head out early to avoid the tourist rush. At the time of organizing my trip to Villa de leyva, one of the most cherished was this place because at references based on this same medium were made wake up my curiosity, upon arriving at the site was a total disappointment since the entry seems to me to be very expensive 8mil Colombian pesos to walk by a place that does not have any signage is known where the route that the girl whom you pay the entrance is nice but in the middle of the bed is not that you way choose begins playing apply logic which I am not AC uerdo since if these charging input minimum is having the site is optimal conditions since it is very bfrecuentado tourists from other countries, and therefore the color "Blue" I leave it in doubt perhaps is a verdozo color normal retained water

Good site for walking, in contact with nature. It is better to go on foot or by bicycle to see the surrounding area.

View and contrast of colors between the sky, the Earth and wells is unique! The entrance costs 8,000 COP. Go comfortable, is a 30 to 40 minute walk

Clear water in man made ponds. Interesting turquoise color contrasted by read and whit soil. Poor signage, and 8,000 per person.
