Parque Gondava, Villa de Leyva

Categories: Theme Parks, Water & Amusement Parks
Inspirock Rating:
3.2/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web
Venture back to the prehistoric at Parque Gondava. Known as the "valley of the dinosaurs" this amusement park features scale replicas of extinct species, the largest of which is a 14 m (45.9 ft) tall Brachiosaurus. The inspiration for the site comes from the high levels of fossils from the Cretaceous period found in the Villa de Leyva region. With both a boating and "prehistoric" lake, this park makes an ideal stop for families; while some elements may still be under construction, children have plenty to climb, touch, and see here. For Parque Gondava and beyond, use our Villa de Leyva family vacation planner to get the most from your Villa de Leyva vacation.

  • An attraction very cute, suitable for young and old, has very interesting facts about dinosaurs; It is a very well-equipped Park. The staff is friendly and the food they sell is rich and good price.

  • It is an attraction for the lovers of fun parks for children, it has dioramas and snowmen shaped dinosaurs to scale. It is a little difficult to get, is necessary to transport, and has value income... near the 10,000 pesos. Not very expensive fast-food place can be found. It is not good in rainy season.

  • What sadness that wasted a good idea from theme park! What charge to enter ($15,000) is a steal for what they offer. In addition very neglected parts of the Park. Not what I recommend to visit it!

  • Kids has a great time walking around the park, climbing in dinosaurs and digging some fossils.
  • It did not meet the expectations we had. No figure has movement nor the head of the great T rex that seems that is the only that it had in some time, not works and the sound that you put lousy, besides find half Park closed not there are rather than tell. That disappointment, a journey of more than three hours to find this. July 03 of 2016.
