The central landmark for the town of Valledupar, Plaza Alfonso Lopez Valledupar has acted as a meeting spot for important occasions throughout the towns history. Charming colonial houses surround the plaza, comprising of a large open space. Plant life scatters around the plaza in pot plants and garden beds, the most important being a mango tree planted right at its center. An artistic monument symbolizing national revolution overlooks the space, where two mythical figures made of steel elegantly appear as if they are flying.   • It is the square logo of the city. Everything revolves around this site. The most beautiful is the story of the houses of illustrious people of the city and the country surrounding the square. It seems great but it is small. Is very well preserved and surrounded of trees of mango.

  • Bingo place, went by it tomorrow I take photos in the Church and them houses of them surroundings, good place to sit is to take a juice of Orange and relax is, also there is a shop of crafts serca where is can buy gift, backpacks, hats and of more very cute!

  • Mandatory stop for this town. Cathedral is a must see. Nice architecture in the surrounding neighborhoods. Artisan merchandise needs to be price-bargained.
