I guess that for the festival vallenato arranged it and decorate with issues in the region. It is a place that has a beautiful church in a corner, the same monument of Arenas Betancur (almost all are the same) that are found in other cities. In another part of the square there is a bust of Alfonso Lopez, who is unlike anything the former President. What found me most curious was that day to visit the square, and the other three days to visit the city, the only person who had hat "vuetiao" I was. They surely saved them for use in the festival.

Mandatory stop for this town. Cathedral is a must see. Nice architecture in the surrounding neighborhoods. Artisan merchandise needs to be price-bargained.
