  • The oldest Catholic Temple of Colombia. This Cathedral dates from 1574. Located in the plaza de Bolívar de Tunja, a simple Cathedral with an impressive dome.

  • Its construction was entrusted to the master Pedro Gutièrrez, by Juan de Castellanos and founder of Tunja, Captain Gonzalo Suárez Rondon, and be home in 1567. It is located opposite the Plaza de Bolívar and within the historical center of Tunja, which was declared a national monument. In its interior you can see paintings by Gregorio Vàsquez de Arce y Ceballos, there also lie the remains of Gonzalo Suàrez Rondòn.
