  • Primarily used as a starting point for achieving the best bays in the Tayrona Park, the beach of Taganga represents, in my opinion, the backpacker tourism which can be found in South America and particularly in Colombia. At sunset, as seen in the photos which I enclose, is one of the most charming places where I've been, with the orange light of the Sun that caresses the hulls of boats and bounces on the mountains surrounding the Bay. The environment is "a little hippy", meaning engaging and there is a good availability of cheap hostels where to spend the night. Staying in Santa Marta Taganga, I appreciated the night because I was dismayed by the unexpected, and premature closure of beautiful food restaurant around 6. Suitable for young tourism and without need for any special comfort, I think he can be a very fun, quirky and quaint place to spend a couple of days, but always to be used as a Launchpad for surrounding destinations. You can buy here tickets for the same desk, never mind get already supplied. Sea and beach quite dirty.

  • The village is nice enough to port. C is very noisy on weekends rent rather upward from the village for peace of mind. Some good restaurants. Unfortunately, the beaches have no interest. The village is dirty strewn garbage and trash that do not seem to hinder tourists Neo hyppies
