Playa Grande, Taganga

1.3
#3 of 6 in Beaches in Santa Marta District
A short walk out of the town, Playa Grande is a beach well-loved by the locals who flock to it during holidays. Backed by gentle, green hills, and lined with fine, white sand against emerald waters, this is a nice place to soaking up the rays. Reach the beach via an ecological path or by a quick boat trip. Take a dip in the clear water and top it off with a fresh catch served up by the many seaside restaurants. • We arrived at taganga with prior and at the mirador where sell crafts, and you can take good photographs of taganga and its Bay, arriving at taganga has choice of hotel accommodation in the blue whale that my concept is the best in the area , or simply make the day there there are some restaurants did not try any of there, we were offered large boat Beach seemed interesting as you can imagine by being away from the urban and commercial area it would be a nice beach, the cost of the boat trip and This return on the $3,000 pesos once assigned him a restaurant for lunch, arriving at Beach the recommended person receives and displays in that restaurant would be lunch, they offer chairs asole you worship on the $5,000, the restaurants are very handcrafted with wood stove, with fish dishes are on average by $25,000, we ready ourselves to enter the beach awhile but is amazing the degree of waste which is located on the beach and even more in the sea, the people who visit the place is very dirty there ascends efore cans of garbage on the beach and people throw trash where they think, traders don't care enough this concept, there were also many dead fish floating to shore in conclusion gave to disgust get into the sea, the normal lunch, I asked a Crappie with rice, fried plantain and salad, my spouse asked a ceviche which I do not I taste was with the small Titi shrimp, there accommodation option is the most known is the hotel jaba nibue which offers an excellent view and has a not-very-large pool for n or getting into that sea pig.

  • To get a public bus we take dsd race 5 in Santa Marta that left 1700 Colombian and in any corner. Choose a journey which took us by 6 thousand Colombians because shocking was heat for using the trail up to there in Taganga. The landscape is beautiful. The beach is not nothing impressive, the water is warm and clear. The sand is with stones. An option to spend the day. Nothing more than that.
