The legend of hidden treasure lures tourists to Morgan's Cave, allegedly the site of pirate Henry Morgan's buried bounty. Some 120 m (400 ft) deep, the cave can only be viewed from its mouth, but remains a part of nearly every tour of San Andres Island. A replica of the cave and Morgan's boat help bring the legend to life, while staff performs the traditional mento dance. Hear stories of the Caribbean's pirate past, while getting a look at modern island culture. • The cave is located in the Centre of the island and it is worth to know a little more about the history of the island and piracy. The fee charged is not very expensive and to who's giving a tour of the island, there's no harm in a quick visit.
