Morgan's Cave, San Andres
(1/5 based on 2,000+ reviews on the web)
The legend of hidden treasure lures tourists to Morgan's Cave, allegedly the site of pirate Henry Morgan's buried bounty. Some 120 m (400 ft) deep, the cave can only be viewed from its mouth, but remains a part of nearly every tour of San Andres Island. A replica of the cave and Morgan's boat help bring the legend to life, while staff performs the traditional mento dance. Hear stories of the Caribbean's pirate past, while getting a look at modern island culture. Put Morgan's Cave on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our San Andres Island itinerary planner.

  • An option for anyone with children, for they take pictures in pirate boats. The interesting thing is the buildings that use pieces of coconut, coral and shells. As there is nothing that would make me come back to the site.
