Cayo Bolivar, San Andres

4.5
#2 of 6 in Nature in San Andres Island
Ride the waves on a jet boat to get from San Andres to Cayo Bolivar, and it may very well feel like you've arrived at a tropical paradise. Relax on heavenly white beaches, and swim or snorkel through crystal clear waters on the tiny cay, which has no permanent facilities. Your tour may include lunch, but bring snacks and water along anyway, as you won't find many food options short of climbing up a tree and gathering coconuts. • Among the numerous islands, we opted to meet the distance Bolivar Cay. Island without infrastructure, are people of the craft that make our lunch, simple but delicious. Place and a beautiful sea, where we spent the day swimming in contact with fish and sharks friendlies. Need shoes to walk on the beaches which are gravel. The only downside is the trip to the site, which are carried out on vessels not big. That's where I witnessed the physics, action and reaction, of sea water beating under the boat in to the site. An adventure, but safe, and seawater baths in all the way.

  • It's a shame because they say that it is wonderful but it remains closed, should not go with companies that say they will "illegally" because it is a lie and not take you over charge you like. Same with the rest of the keys enough to fall in love with San Andrés

  • You can't go to San Andrés without going to Cayo Bolivar. A deserted island away from San Andrés, where the sea merges with the sky and water is the more crystal clear I've ever seen in my life! The team that takes offers a very simple but delicious lunch. Drink at will. Provide parasol and diving masks, however these must pay. The best place in the world!

  • Beautiful place. Unfortunately is something garbage; It is more a reserve that is worth protecting. Simply beautiful!

  • The path is well agitated with high sea waves, but the visual was worth it, wonderful. 👏 👏
