Blow Hole, San Andres

#1 of 6 in Sightseeing in San Andres and Providencia Department
Landmark Tourist Spot
Don't stand too close to Blow Hole, or you might get soaked. The small hole in the ground, located at the southern end of San Andres Island, shoots up incredibly strong jets of water when waves crash into the shore. Due to a series of underground coral formations, the water and air become so pressurized that they are forced straight up, creating the fountain-like phenomenon.
