Rocky Cay, San Andres Island

Gaze out over the multicolored waters at Rocky Cay, a small beach in the Caribbean. As you stand on the shore, notice the beach's distinctive shipwreck, close enough to swim to. Bring snorkeling gear to make the most of the colorful marine life swimming through the crystal clear waters, and take a pair of water shoes to protect your feet from the coral poking out of the sea floor. Keep an eye out for iguanas slinking around underneath the palms trees, just waiting to be photographed. • I met the Beach the same day to rent a golf cart. Paid 10,000 pesos to park and 20,000 to 2 lounge chairs in the shade. The beach is beautiful and very calm sea. You can walk long distances at sea and meet the tiny island near the beach. Ok prices of food and drinks.

  • A fun experience! Cross walking or swimming in parts according to the tide of the day is super fun. The beaches in the area are very spacious and if not stay in the decameron (who have their own space), you got a beach club that, with consumption, you can stay all day, the typical tents for rent day and much space in the arena for a lon to enjoy the day!

  • Rocky Cay is an island that can be reached walking from the coast... so you can enjoy marine fauna making Snorkel... The island has no attractions but being in that piece of land in the middle of the sea is impressive

  • It has potential but we found it a bit dirty... The beach could be really nice because the views from there are really unique (a little island and a sank boat). Unfortunately, like in so many places in this island, the beaches are quite dirty... It's a shame. The beach also has a few restaurants reasonably priced to stay for lunch which is convenient.
  • Rocky Cay is small, to get there if you stay in the Centre you can go on a motorcycle, golf cart, taxi or the most economical option in collective. Located approximately 15 to 20 minutes from the Centre. The entrance is next to the Decameron. Rocky Cay is located across walk a few meters from this beach, depends on the waves, you can walk by holding buoys, if the waves are very strong should be care when crossing. You can see a boat which I encallo there very closely. It carries shoes since it is Rocky, you can also wear mask and schedule in which you can enter is 9 to 5 pm.

  • It is the key that you get from the Rocky Cay beach. The truth is no big deal. The most cute, if you like to swim, it is to cross there. Because water does not arrive or on the shoulders and across the road, if you crop by the buoys, there is sand in the soil. So you can cross it quiet, whenever it is enabled. Depending on the tide, is crossed or not. Once you arrive, you see a boat anchored and burned there closely. There are some Palm trees. But it is not to be more than 10 minutes. Obviously don't forget to wear your slippers nautical. Because arriving at the Caye begin corals.

  • Rocky Kay is one of the 3 beaches of San Andres. It is located away from the Center. The crystal clear water and great beaches make one pass a lovely stay. It can be reached by bus or by renting a bike or car. The people of the service is very attentive and friendly. 800 metres away is the beach Rocky Kay that can cross walking from the coast. To me seem the most beautiful beach of San Andres. You can enjoy typical food. Open from 9 to 17 pm. Super recommended.
