Rocky Cay, San Andres Island

Landmark
Gaze out over the multicolored waters at Rocky Cay, a small beach in the Caribbean. As you stand on the shore, notice the beach's distinctive shipwreck, close enough to swim to. Bring snorkeling gear to make the most of the colorful marine life swimming through the crystal clear waters, and take a pair of water shoes to protect your feet from the coral poking out of the sea floor. Keep an eye out for iguanas slinking around underneath the palms trees, just waiting to be photographed. • A great place to explore, swim a lot and see numerous exotic places, like wreck, coral, numerous Fish is through two islands walking about without having to swim. Don't forget the shoe and glasses, indico do this tour when you go around the island, best means of locomotion or Mullite bike, golf cart too slow.

  • We did the tour of the island by ATV (side by side) and we have dinner at this place. We had to book the day before to be accepted. Worth the stop, the beach is beautiful, the sand is white and the snack bar is open and the food is OK. A nice resort to do!

  • Beautiful views, but if you haven't been to Johnny Cay, this goes into the background. At the key there are no restaurants and it's all so crosses walking from the beach to the key as a unique experience!

  • Nice beach to spend the day, the locals are very attentive and the drinks and food is regular priced. The sea isn't so calm and you must be careful while snorkelling around the small island and ship wreckage. I recommend spending at least a couple of hours around there.
  • Small and nice island. Good view from there.
  • Not that great experience in my opinion. There is a wreckage of an old ship.
  • 😃😃
  • Excellent beach, with umbrellas and restaurant with good prices. Obligatory stop in San Andrés. Take the snorkel to see corals and pieces of the sunken ship.
