  • We'd walked past this place a couple of times without really noticing it as a restaurant ... there are hostel rooms and a 5-a-side football pitch within its grounds. There's an open kitchen where prof...  more »
  • 2 nights spent in Salento. Slept in the Beta hotel. in the morning to Beta town gone for breakfast. There they give good tips and advice on what you can do in Salento. You like to lay things out, even if you book an activity with them. Some speak fluent English, such as the owner and her son, that your explanation about the activities. When you are going to do the activities independently, e.g. the coffee plantation or the Cocora Valley you can get a cheap and very generous packed lunch. They give you very smart tips where you what to have! All in all, super service! Very sweet and helpful people!!

  • I went there for the first time in may and had an amazing experience and the service was excellent and the food was delicious.. i returned 4 months later and was able to enjoy more delicious food and learn how to play tejo had an amazing time!
  • Great new hotel! With nice restaurant! Hotel is managed by two brothers who sprak fluent English. They can help with al information and trips/hikes you want.. Book it you won't be disappointed!
  • What do steel projectiles, screaming men, explosives and ludicrous amounts of beer have in common? Tejo, the national sport of Colombia, of course! We were recommended by our hotel to learn how to play tejo here, and were not disappointed! This family run business (a mom and two sons) was super friendly and patient in teaching us the game, and chatting with us about life in Salento and their experiences living in Texas (random!). While we're nowhere near experts, we can now say we've set off explosions in Colombia!
  • Great place. We learned how to play Tejos there.
  • Order the grilled trucha, best dish we had in Colombia!
