  • I was MUCH more impressed than I expected to be! Photos just cannot capture the beauty of the place. It really is a must-see if you are in the Salamina/San Felix area.

  • The perfect place to match the quiet natural experience Great services
  • must see, greener than green and so beautiful nature! do walk around!!!
  • Amazing place. Basically, it is a working farm with plenty of wax palms as well as small forest. There are two guided walks shorter and longer. Taking into account that you have to spend several hours in a car to get here, I Would recommend the longrer one (8000 per person). To get by own car you need to follow the road Salamina - San Felix and than ask locals (or use a map) and take the side road. Road cobditions vary so it is better to ask befor travel. In January 2018 it was possible to drive in a normal passenger car. In February 2019, due to ongoing roadworks, the surface was in much worse condition - we had 4x4 and in some places it was a bit tricky
  • A magic place, simply amazing. Totally recommend it.
  • Beautiful, remote, yet overated in my opinion. Go there if you are in the area during high season and want to escape to crowd. The place IS beautiful but also hard to access and less impressive that Cocora Valley (which I enjoyed a lot since I went there in low season). The owner's family is very welcoming - they also serve food and can host you - and the explanations about their lands is a nice plus. Yes, this is a good "local" alternative to Cocora, but no, it is not "better" than Cocora - just different. The get there, first go to Salamina, then head to San Félix (buses also go there). From San Félix, drive or walk around two hours on the dirt road to the Mirador. We slept in La Italia (located on the way between San Félix and the Mirador).
